This is one I did a long time ago. Thayer art class, I think (shout out, Mr. Searle!)
Actually, I was thinking about him the other day. I didn’t know it at the time, but he was one of the main reasons I got into Thayer. I had taken the tour for prospective students the previous spring, and brought my sketchbook (as I always did then). Mr. Searle saw me drawing in it, and the rest is history. On my first day of school he sought me out to ask me to enroll in the upperclassman Painting and Drawing. Like a good therapist, he helped me to help myself, and to nurture and develop my talent in my own way. Thanks, Mr. S.
